This civic-minded group focuses on community landscaping, fundraising efforts to benefit the town common areas, fellowship, conservation, and environmental "greening." The Friends of the Tewksbury Patriotic Activities Committee was formed in 2006 to promote and organize community funding and participation for patriotic events such as the Memorial Day parade, Veterans Day service, and Independence Day celebrations.

The "Friends" have been an organization supporting the library financially, culturally, and politically for over 20 years. There are over 150 members to this organization, and are a certified non-profit entity.

East Street Apartment Complex (288 units)
Proposal for 288 new apartments with about 25% of them rated as "affordable housing". These are ALL rental units that are proposed to be built by John D. Sullivan who is also on the Board of Appeals.
